Co-worker statistics

The number of co-workers at Triodos Bank increased by 15.6% in 2013, from 788 to 911. The increase in head office co-workers exceeded expectations as a result of an increase in regulations and reporting requirements. The gender ratio across the organisation is balanced and remained virtually unchanged. In 2013 Triodos Bank employed 481 women (52.8%) and 430 men (47.2%).

Triodos Bank believes that more diverse management will create a healthier culture and will have a positive impact on its achievements. The share of women in management positions is now at 40% (2012: 42%). Triodos Bank will continue to pay attention to the gender balance within the organisation, especially in commercial management positions. It appointed three heads of business banking in its branches in 2013, two of whom are female.

Flexible working remains common practice in most countries. Overall 25% of Triodos Bank co-workers work part time, of which 27.3% are men. The average co-worker age remains stable at 39.6 years (2012: 39.5), as does the average period of service, which was 4.7 years in 2013 (2012: 4.6 years). Compared to the continuing growth of the organisation, Triodos Bank considers the average age and period of service to be at healthy levels.
