Developing co-workers

Various training modules and courses are organised, with both an international and local focus, within the Triodos Academy. In 2011 a pilot for a visionary leadership program concluded successfully as did a new management development programme.

A Values seminar, which introduces Triodos Bank values as they relate to daily work, was held twice during the year and 49 participants took part in it.

Other tailored training was organised in the different business units, such as team leader and self management training. Training modules were also provided by the Institute for Social Banking, including round table discussions covering specific disciplines and a summer school, which this year was hosted in Canterbury, UK.

Development costs increased by 6.5% from € 1,897, to € 2,020 per co-worker. On average this represents 3.3 days of training per co-worker (2010: 2.5 days) and reflects the importance Triodos Bank puts on the development of its co-workers.
